Congressional district lines have changed since the last election — click here to find out where you’re registered.
Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District was recently re-drawn by a federal court. The new district lines are final, and will be in effect for this fall’s election.
The Fourth now includes all of Charles City, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Emporia, Greensville, Hopewell, Petersburg, Prince George, Richmond, Southampton, Surry, and Sussex, as well as parts of Chesapeake, Chesterfield, Henrico, and Suffolk.
Many voters who previously lived in the Third (Rep. Bobby Scott) and the Seventh (Rep. Dave Brat) are now residents of the Fourth. To see if you’re one of them, click here.
